Privacy Policy
The short version. There are no accounts. What you log in our apps — measurements, photos, trips, expenses, test answers, brands and collaborations — is written to your own device. SplitTrip can sync through your own iCloud account, and UGC can save complete backup files in your own iCloud Drive. We never receive that content through these features, and we never sell any data. Usage analytics measures how the apps are used and, in some apps, whether purchases succeed. In UGC, analytics is off by default and can be enabled or disabled in Settings.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the website at oizapps.com and to the iOS apps published by OIZ Apps:
None of the apps require an account, a sign-up, or an email address to work. We do not operate a server that stores what you enter, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.
What the apps store, and where
The content you create lives on your device, in each app’s own storage. It is covered by your device passcode and iOS encryption. Deleting the app removes its local data; copies saved in iCloud or exported elsewhere must be deleted separately, as explained below.

iCloud sync in SplitTrip
SplitTrip stores your trips in your private CloudKit database — the personal iCloud storage tied to your Apple Account — so your trips back up and follow you across your own devices. That data belongs to your Apple Account and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have no access to it: we cannot read, export, or restore it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, or iCloud is unavailable, the app falls back to a local-only store and keeps working.
Backups in UGC
UGC keeps its working database on your device. It does not automatically synchronize individual records between devices. When iCloud Drive is available, the app can save complete backup files in your own iCloud account. Automatic backups are checked while you use the app; an upload requires an available connection and sufficient iCloud storage. You can also create and share a backup yourself. If iCloud is unavailable, a manually created copy is kept locally and can be exported.
A backup contains your records, attachments and supported app settings. Restoring a backup replaces the app’s current data and requires your confirmation. The app also keeps a local recovery copy of the data being replaced.
We do not receive your UGC records or backup files through this feature. If you export or share a backup, the recipient or storage provider you choose can access its contents. Backup files are not encrypted separately by UGC; device and iCloud protections are provided by Apple. Share a backup only with someone you trust.
Apple Health
Weight & Measurements Tracker can read your weight and height from Apple Health and write weight back to it — only after you explicitly grant permission in the iOS Health permission sheet, and only for those data types. You can revoke it at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold or shared with third parties, never sent to our analytics, and never leaves your device through us.
Photos and camera
Weight & Measurements Tracker asks for camera access when you take a progress photo, and for permission to add photos to your library when you save or export one. Progress photos are stored inside the app on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere, and they are not visible to us.
Analytics in the apps
The apps include Google Firebase Analytics so we can see how the apps are actually used and what to fix or build next. In Weight & Measurements Tracker, SplitTrip, and DMV Practice Test Permit 2026, it records events such as which screens are opened, which features are used, whether a purchase screen was shown, and whether a purchase succeeded, cancelled, or failed. UGC’s events and optional analytics are described below. Firebase also attaches technical context: app version, device model, operating system version, language, an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically country level), and an app instance identifier generated by Firebase.
What analytics never includes: your measurements, weight, or photos; the names of the people in your trips, your expenses, or the amounts; your test answers; your name, email address, or phone number; any Apple Health data; or the contents of your UGC records, including brand and contact details, collaborations, tasks, amounts, scripts and attachments.
Firebase processes this data for us as a service provider under Firebase’s privacy terms and Google’s Privacy Policy. Weight & Measurements Tracker, SplitTrip, and DMV Practice Test Permit 2026 do not currently offer an in-app switch to turn analytics off. Deleting an app stops collection by that app, and you can email us to have the data associated with your app instance deleted. UGC has the additional controls described below.
Analytics choices in UGC
Usage analytics in UGC is off by default. You can enable it in Settings and turn it off there at any time. When enabled, UGC uses Firebase Analytics to measure usage, including events when a brand, collaboration or task is added. The contents of your records and attachments are not included in these events.
Firebase may associate usage events with technical information and an app-instance identifier. UGC disables automatic screen-view reporting and IDFV collection, and does not grant consent for advertising storage, advertising user data or personalized advertising. Turning analytics off disables further analytics collection by the app; it does not itself request deletion of information already received by Firebase.
The apps contain no advertising, no ad SDKs, no attribution or tracking SDKs, and no social network SDKs.
This website
oizapps.com is a static site. It has no accounts, no comment forms, and no newsletter. It uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser and records the pages you view, the referring link, your approximate location from your IP address, and your device and browser type. We also log one custom event — a click on an App Store link, along with where on the page the link sat — so we can tell which pages actually help people find an app.
You can block this with any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics cookies, or with Google’s opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.
Purchases
The apps are free to download. Some offer optional paid features or tips through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. Apple tells the app whether a purchase is active so it can unlock the feature, and reports aggregate sales figures to us. Apple’s handling of that transaction is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

These are the service providers we use. If you choose to export or share a UGC backup, the recipient or storage provider you choose also receives that file and its contents. We otherwise disclose data outside this list only if we are legally required to — for example, in response to a valid legal request.
Children
The apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and your rights
Because your content stays on your device, you are in direct control of most of it:
- Delete individual entries — measurements, photos, trips, expenses, or UGC records — inside each app.
- Delete local app data by deleting the app from your device. iCloud and exported copies must be deleted separately.
- Export UGC data as a backup from the app’s backup settings.
- Turn UGC analytics on or off in the app’s Settings.
- Remove synced SplitTrip data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
- Revoke Health, camera, or photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- Opt out of website analytics with a browser blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on.
Deleting UGC data and copies
You can delete records in UGC. Deleting a brand or collaboration can also delete its related records and attachments, as explained in the confirmation. Deleting the app removes its local data, but does not remove copies already saved in iCloud Drive or exported elsewhere. Delete those files separately in iCloud Drive or in the destination where you saved them. Previously shared copies remain with their recipients.
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK, and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data we hold, and to object to its processing. We have no accounts and hold no directory of users, so in practice this concerns analytics data. Email us and we will act on your request; we do not charge for it and we will not discriminate against you for making it. We have never sold or shared personal information, as those terms are defined under California law.
Retention
Content stored on your device stays there until you delete it. Analytics data is retained by Firebase and Google Analytics under their standard retention windows — currently up to 14 months for event-level data — after which it is deleted or kept only in aggregate.
UGC may automatically remove older backup files according to its retention rules. Copies you export remain in the destination you chose until you or that storage provider removes them. Deleting a record from the app does not remove it from existing backup files.
Security
Keeping your content on your own device is the main safeguard: there is no central database of user data to breach. On-device data is protected by your device passcode and iOS encryption, and iCloud data by your Apple Account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we can guarantee we hold as little as possible.
Changes to this policy
If our apps change how they handle data, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a released version of an app.
