Terms & Conditions
The short version. The apps are free, yours to use for your own purposes, and offered as they are. They are tools that help you keep track of things — not medical advice, not an official driving exam, and not a payment service. Your data is on your device, so keeping backups is up to you.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the website at oizapps.com and to the iOS apps published by OIZ Apps: Weight & Measurements Tracker, SplitTrip: Split Trip Expenses, and DMV Practice Test Permit 2026 (together, the “apps”). By downloading, installing, or using an app, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the apps.
Apple’s own terms apply to everything you download from the App Store, alongside these. Where the two conflict on a matter of App Store distribution, Apple’s terms govern.
2. Your licence to use the apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use. You may not:
- copy, modify, or create derivative versions of an app or any part of it;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted;
- rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute an app;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
- extract our question banks, content, or data in bulk, whether by hand or automated means, for use in another product.
The apps, their content, design, and all related intellectual property remain ours. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of anything to you.
3. What the apps are — and are not
Health and body measurements
Weight & Measurements Tracker is a logging and tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. BMI, body fat percentage, and body measurements are general screening figures, not a clinical assessment, and they can be misleading for athletes, pregnant people, older adults, and others. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, diet, or training, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read in the app or on this website.
Permit and driving-test preparation
DMV Practice Test Permit 2026 is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any state DMV, government agency, or licensing authority. Its questions are written for practice and are not copies of any official examination, and passing practice tests does not guarantee you will pass a real one. Traffic laws and test formats change: always confirm current rules, fees, and required documents with your state’s official driver handbook and licensing authority.
Shared expenses
SplitTrip records and divides expenses that you enter. It does not move money, process payments, or hold funds, and it is not a financial, banking, or money-transfer service. Its balances and settlement suggestions are informational — check them before anyone pays anyone. Any agreement about who owes what is between you and the people you travel with, and we are not a party to it.
4. Your content and your device
You keep ownership of everything you enter into the apps. That content is stored on your device — and, for SplitTrip, in your own iCloud when you are signed in — as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not hold a copy, which means we cannot restore your data if a device is lost, reset, or damaged, or if an app is deleted. Keeping backups is your responsibility — iCloud Backup or an encrypted device backup is the practical way to do it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for keeping your device and your Apple Account secure. If you add other people’s names to a trip, you are responsible for doing so appropriately.
5. Free apps and in-app purchases
The apps are free to download. Some offer optional paid features, subscriptions, or tips through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Where they do:
- the price and what it unlocks are shown before you confirm — we will never charge you without making that clear;
- payment is charged to your Apple Account, and Apple handles all billing;
- subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions;
- refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple’s policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com;
- tips and one-time purchases are non-refundable except where Apple or the law provides otherwise.
We may change what is free and what is paid in future versions. Features you have already purchased stay available to you in the version you own.
6. Updates, availability, and changes
The apps currently run on iOS. System requirements may change with new versions, and you may need to install updates to keep an app working. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may stop publishing or supporting an app at any time. If we do, the copy installed on your device keeps working for as long as your device and iOS version support it, but we cannot promise it will remain compatible with future iOS releases.
Some functions need an internet connection — for example iCloud sync and App Store purchases. Charges from your mobile network provider, including roaming charges, are yours to bear. If you are not the person paying that bill, we assume you have their permission.
7. Third-party services
The apps and this website rely on services provided by Apple and Google, each with their own terms and privacy policies. Links from this website to other sites are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimer
The apps and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work to keep the apps accurate and reliable, but we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, question, or piece of content is free of mistakes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising out of your use of the apps or this website — including a failed test, a disputed settlement between friends, a health decision, or data lost from a device. Our total liability for any claim relating to an app is limited to the amount you paid us for that app in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
10. Termination
You may stop using an app at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these terms. On termination, the rights granted to you here end and you should delete the app; sections 2, 3, 8, 9, and this section survive.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example when an app gains a paid feature or a new capability. The revised terms take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the apps after that means you accept the update, so it is worth checking this page occasionally.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms, or about anything in the apps — write to leksme.w@gmail.com.
